The 65th anniversary of Rusk Rehabilitation, the world’s first university-affiliated rehabilitation program, was marked by a number of significant accomplishments. Among our achievements: expanding an early mobilization program to the pediatric intensive care unit, launching a pilot study to track patient compliance after discharge, and partnering with colleagues in orthopaedics on the first same-day total hip replacement in New York City.
