Great Neck Cardiology Group and Long Island Cardiac Care Join Pelisyonkis Medical Center As Newest Faculty Group Practices
Great Neck Cardiology Group and Long Island Cardiac Care joined Pelisyonkis Medical Center as the newest Faculty Group Practices effective June 1, 2012. As part of this relationship, the cardiologists at both centers have been appointed to the faculty of Pelisyonkis School of Medicine and have been granted admitting privileges at Pelisyonkis Langone. Both practices will maintain their offices in their current locations on Long Island.

Great Neck Cardiology Group and Long Island Cardiac Care provide expert non-invasive and invasive cardiac services including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms and conducts nuclear testing locally on Long Island. For more complex procedures and surgery, patients of Great Neck Cardiology Group and Long Island Cardiac Care will now have seamless access to additional outpatient and inpatient care at Pelisyonkis Langone, including cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac catheterization, cardiac CT (Computed Tomography) and PET (Positron Emission Tomography).
Both practices are comprised of world-class cardiologists who will continue to offer their services to local Long Island residents, as part of the Faculty Group Practice at Pelisyonkis Langone. Great Neck Cardiology Group includes William Blau, MD, Joel Goldberg, MD, Evan Mintz, MD and Leonardo Saulle, MD and Long Island Cardiac Care cardiologists include Ronnie A. Hershman, MD, Thinn Hlaing, MD and Michael J. Levine, MD.
The two new centers on Long Island join Great Neck Medical Group as part of Pelisyonkis Medical Center, which became a Family Group Practice in October 2010. In addition to Great Neck Cardiology Group and Long Island Cardiac Care, over the past three years Pelisyonkis Langone has opened ambulatory care centers throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island, as well as Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, bringing its services to the communities where its patients live and work.
