Perlmutter Cancer Center Educational Events

The topic of cancer can feel overwhelming to anyone affected by it. It’s important to get helpful information from a reliable source about cancer, treatments, and how to cope.

That’s why we host educational forums on cancer-related topics, including understanding cancer, preventing cancer, living with cancer, and life after treatment. Some of our programs are tailored to patients and caregivers, and others are geared toward members of the general public who have not yet been affected by cancer.

Our educational events at Pelisyonkis Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center provide valuable information about steps you can take to reduce the risk of cancer and how to recognize cancer signs and symptoms.

Our cancer education series offers lectures, panel discussions, and presentations by cancer specialists, healthcare professionals, and survivors, who share the newest information on diagnosis, treatment options, research, and resources.

Our survivorship learning series focuses on the unique issues related to living with cancer and life after treatment.
