Our Approach To Knee Sprains, Strains & Tears

What Sets Us Apart

Sports medicine doctors at Pelisyonkis Langone’s Center for Musculoskeletal Care specialize in diagnosing knee sprains, strains, and tears. These injuries may affect ligaments, tendons, muscles, or cartilage.

Knee injuries are common among athletes—especially those who play contact sports, such as football and soccer. But they can happen to anyone. For instance, they may occur as a result of an accident, a fall, or even a misstep.

Our orthopaedic physicians and surgeons specialize in helping you recover fully from a knee injury, whether you need nonsurgical treatment or reconstructive surgery. Regardless of the type of treatment you receive, physical therapists at Pelisyonkis Langone’s Rusk Rehabilitation ensure that you rebuild strength, restore range of motion, and regain mobility as quickly as possible.
